This was a really good read for being free. Going into it I wasn't too sure but i really enjoyed this. I really don't get the title. The story started off at a nice pace.The cover isn't awesome. But this is one of those cases "don't judge a book by its cover"
(Ahh and finally after 66% the story behind the title is revealed!)
I haven't read many books about reapers (they don't like to be called that.) So this is was different for me. The author even created new names for them...so it kept me guessing and wanting Liam to get Isabelle to the Gideon guy so I could get answers. I like how the Isabelle takes forever to get over what happened to her. Some authors just quickly get it over with. But Stasia done it perfectly. It's a traumatic experience for petes sake. You don't get over that in a snap.
Okay...toward the second half of the book she has her dreams. Possibly about her past life of something. This book has a lot of emotions and heartbreak. Gideon just drives me crazy.
This book just kept getting better and better. I loved it. The author had a bunch of hard to read words in this book. But rest assured this book has a glossary in the ayback that I just now found. Im going to recommend this book to everyone! It was just THAT GOOD! It's definitely worth more than the .99 cents!

What an incredible discovery! Once I started reading this wonderful work, I literally couldn't put it down until the end. Stasia has a great way of weaving a story to grip your soul's imagination and take it for one heck of a ride! Well done!!

Interesting story kept me reading way past my bedtime to find out what happened next... surprises kept me interested till the final chapter.
I literally could not put his book down. Some moments felt like a forbidden guilty pleasure I should keep hidden... while others astounded me with their incredible imaginativeness. I can't wait to read the rest of the series.
Stasia Morineaux is a superb wordsmith and takes her readers on a fantastical ride! The storyline grabs your attention while the characters grab your affection. Travel into a world beyond our everyday, where death is more than just an act. I recommend this to you but reader beware....this is a sweet addiction!
I have enjoyed books by Piers Anthony that deal in mythical and mystical realms and beings, but this was more of a fun, light-hearted gothic story with incredible characters and bits of intimacy strewn throughout the pages. I was picturing in my head what each of the characters looked like as I interpreted the paths that they were being taken on. Wonderful job and I look forward to much more from the author.
